Layout: 1 column, 6 staves. Bounding lines in light plummet, outermost doubled; writing lines in light plummet. Square Gregorian notation on a four-line red staff. Decoration: Recto: 2-staff high initial in gold and colors with thin acanthus and tendrils into margins, the Presentation in the Temple: the Virgin stands at the left before a church-like archway holding the infant, who reaches towards St. Simeon at the right; Joseph stands behind the Virgin holding a dove for the offering, and a woman stands behind Simeon. Binding: Housed in an oversize manila folder. Origin: Written in Italy, possibly Bologna, in the mid-14th century, from the same manuscript as BPL MS pb. Med.171, Med.189 and Med.191.
