The text is written in a carolingian minuscule hand, with neumes above each line, arranged around a single red staff line.
The recto contains a large foliated initial "T" in red and yellow.
Probably Italian, to judge from resemblance to Lucca, Biblioteca Capitolare, ms. 601.
