Written in Italy, perhaps in the north-east, to judge from the orthography. Erased ex libris in the lower margin of f. 1. On f. 128v is an ownership note, s. XV: "Iste liber est mei bastiani pinelli __?___ quem emi a Iohanne bernegensi"; in a different hand, below that, is the note "di G.b." (Giovanni Bernegense?). Placed by G. D.
