Script: Written chiefly in nastaʻlīq with Arabic in naskh with vocalization. Decoration: Rubrications, including some Arabic, in red; overlines in red. Origin: Item is undated; perhaps copied in the 16th or 17th century. Shelfmark: MS Or 89 - FOLIO/FLAT. Blue paper pasted to the last page is written from Mirzā Muḥammad Khān ʻĪsā Khān from the madrasah Dār al-Shafā to Karbālāʼī Muḥammad Haydar. Customs stamp dated 1312; numerous owner's stamps and notes (first flyleaf recto at front of book and f. 2v). Owner's note dated 1226 A.H. with the name Mullā ʻIsá walad Karbālāʼī Muḥammad Ḥaydar? (f. 1r). Formerly owned by ʻIsá walad Karbālāʼī Muḥammad Ḥaydar (f. 1r). Formerly owned by David Eugene Smith (note in pencil f. 1v).
