A damaged manuscript leaf from a missal. On recto, text in the first column contains the end of Acts 8:35 and continues through verse 40 at the end of the chapter, a call for a gradual and then proceeds to a chant. Layout: Text on the recto is written in 2 columns of 30 lines each, the left most of which measures 110 mm. The right-most portion of the right column is missing, including the entire right margin. The left side margin measures 45 mm, indicating that the original width of the manuscript may have been approximately 100 mm wider. The ruling methods are no longer visible.
Decoration: Single color, 1- to 2- line red pen-initials. The scribe has used three rubricated liturgical abbreviations. Two of these are "V" (versus) found on ll. 20 and 23. The third is "Gr" (gradual) found on l. 19. There is also one single littera notabilior (I) on l. 26.
Script: Written in a small and compressed Southern Textualis style at a libraria level of execution.
Binding: Creasing along all four sides and glue residue indicate that this leaf was used to bind a book. The presence of small red ink spots, smudged black ink and incomplete text on the recto suggests that has since been removed, likely occupying a similar area.
