- Nineteenth-century Italian manuscript on wool-dying. The manuscript is written in two different hands and appears to be working manual and color inventory of a dyer in mid-nineteenth-century Italy. The entries on pages [39], [115], [117], [178], and [205] are dated 1856, 1858, 1865, 1866, and 1859 respectively, suggesting that the notebook was used and added to over a period of time. It...
