This initial begins the first response of the first nocturn of Matins for the feast of St. Scholastica (Feb. 10), 'Adorna Rogavi te nec potui obtinere quod volui rogavi deum meum et exaudivit me' (I asked you but was not able to get what I wanted, I asked my God and he heard me). Lewis E M 65:1-78 were once thought to have come from a single manuscript associated with the Cistercian monastery...
These leaves can be dated to ca. 1430-1440.
