Initial I This initial is typical of minor initial decoration found in Italian choir books of the fifteenth century. Similar dimensions in line and staff height, as well as stylistic similarities, indicate that Lewis E M 19:7, 12-15 and 17-18 were taken from the same choir book or set of choir books.
