- Initial Q
This leaf was taken from a Gregory the Great's commentary on the book of Job. The Letter Q, which begins the 22nd book, is a typical example of a fanciful Romanesque initial, in which a dragon wraps around the circle of the letter Q in order to form the cross stoke.
