Binding: Original red morocco, in the corners of the sides olive branch festoons issuing from cupids' heads, in the center an oval of olive branches lettered on the top S MARIE, and on the lower cover SEGVIER, gilt edges, in cloth case
Layout: Musical notation on four-line staves; 18 lines, or 6 staves plus text per page; ruled in red ink; written area: 117 x 70 mm
Script: Gothic--textualis semi-quadrata
Decoration: Full border of naturalistic flowers and fruits on a camaïeu d'or ground (fol. 1r); decorative initials throughout in camaïeu d'or, camaïeu gris and colors; rubrication throughout
