Ms. leaves. Title from the edition of the text edited by Cesare Cavara and printed in 1853 (Bologna: Società tipografica bolognese). Layout: Single column, 28 lines, bounding and writing lines in light brown ink. Script: Written in a humanistic cursive bookhand. Origin: Copied in Italy in the final quarter of the 15th century(?); based on orthographic features and script, possibly in Northern Italy. Provenance: With inscriptions and pen trials, including two later inscriptions by one Antonio Rossi, for example "Antonio Rosso confermo come sopra lanno dell milla Cento ottanta." Later in a private French collection until 2019. Immediate source of acquisition: Purchased from Bernard Quaritch in May, 2023.
