Script: Written in a southern textualis formata in black ink with red rubrics. Decoration: 1- to 3-line red capitals throughout. Binding: 16th-century(?) limp vellum, title handwritten on spine: "Regole del/le monache/ di / s. chiara" and "Cod. [ ]/ saec. [ ]"; paper pastedowns and flyleaves. Origin: Written in Northern Italy in the second half of the fifteenth century for the use of a community of Poor Clares. Provenance: 17th-century inscription, fol. 1: "De usum sororis Marie de Albano et sororis Marie Cleophe de Sollario." Acquired by Acton Griscom (High Point, NJ) "from J. Martini through L. C.
