Ms leaf. In Latin. Title devised by cataloger; date range based on script. Layout: Two columns, 31 lines per column. Script: Written in a Beneventan minuscule in brown ink with red rubrics and initials; capitals highlighted in red and yellow. Decoration: Red lombards, three-line penwork "d" filled in red and yellow on verso. Music: Neumes on a two-line staff; red line for "f," yellow line for "c." Origin: Written in southern Italy. Provenance: Used in the 17th(?) century as a book covering, with later inscription, in Italian. The year "1634" (1635, 1636, etc.) written in several places. Immediate source of acquisition: Purchased from Mayfair Rare Books and Manuscripts, London, in November, 2020. Call number: MS pb Med.283.
