Script: Written in a Spanish gothic rotunda in black ink with red rubrics
Layout: 2 columns, 41 lines. Bounding and writing lines in light plummet, vertical bounding lines full-length.
Decoration:Three-line initials throughout alternating gold on pale red and dark blue or blue with red filigree; the first lection of St. Elizabeth begins with a 5-line initial in blue on gold.
Binding: Tipped into a mat and housed in an oversize manila folder.
Origin: Written in Spain in the mid-15th century.
Immediate source of acquisition: Acquired by BPL in 2001 from Maggs, cat. 1298.
