Script: Written in a gothic rotunda in black ink with red rubrics.
Layout: 1 column, 5 staves. Bounding and writing lines in light plummet, vertical bounding lines full-length. Square Gregorian notation on a four-line red staff.
Decoration: Recto: 1-staff high blue initial with red and green filigree; verso: 2-staff high historiated floriate initial in colors on gold with ơ-border consisting of a linear column in colors with acanthus and gold balls, with floral sprays into lower and upper margins: St. Paul holding a sword and a stack of epistles, the outermost reading "Ad romanos". The historiated initial has been cut...
Binding: Housed in an oversize manila folder.
Origin: Written in northern Italy in the second half of the 15th-century.
