Modern foliation added in pencil, upper left recto; catchwords every verso, lower left. References in the record are to the modern foliation. Layout: 33 long lines; some marginalia. Script: Written in small, neat naskh in black ink; marginalia in maghribi in brown ink. Decoration: Rubrications in red. Origin: The date of each volume is given in the colophon of the volume: v. 1: 977 A.H. (1570) (f. 250r); v. 2: 979 A.H. (1571) (f. 293r); v. 3: 980 A.H. (1472) (f. 242r); v. 4: 981 A.H. (1573) (f. 248v). All volumes were copied by Nūr al-Dīn al-Daljamūnī ibn Aḥmad ibn Shihāb al-Dīn al-Ḥūfī (colophon of each volume). Binding: Brown leather over pasteboard with flap (Type II). The leather binding of each volume is severely deteriored and has pulled away from the spine. The front and back covers are loose or, in some cases, completely detached. Covers are blind tooled with a frame and scalloped outline around a central mandorla of red, embossed paper onlay. Flap has coordinating tooling and onlay. Bottom...
