Script: Written in naskh in black ink; pointed and vocalized. Decoration: Gilt headpiece on first page of text (f. 2v) with text in cloudbands (f. 2v-3r); full page illustrations of the mosque at Mecca (f. 14v) and the Rawḍah at Medina (f.15r); textblock bordered-ruled in gold, black, red; gold roundels with pink and blue dots punctuate text. Several polychrome and gold headers divide the text into sections. Second polychrome and gold headpiece with text... Binding: Bound in reddish brown leather with flap (Type II); blind stamped and gilded mandorla with two pendants and cornerpieces on front and back covers; stamped and gilded pendant and cornerpieces on flap. Inside covers and flap have brown leather doublure with gold tooled pattern reflecting the pattern on the outside covers. Bright green embossed endpapers and green textile hinges. Gilded...
