Ms. is illuminated and in clear naskh script on glazed paper. 24.8 x 17.4 cm. Text fully vocalized. Some diacritical marks in red ink. Surah titles in red or white ink on gold leaf backgrounds. Verses terminate in gilt circles. Catchwords. Bare marginal glosses. Page margins have folial medallions in gold and other colors with motifs at top and bottom. Paper is glazed laid stock, probably handmade. Some minor smudges and discoloration. Very good condition.
Binding is red leather with envelope flap. Tooled scalloped mandorla designs on covers and envelope flap. Corners also tooled and gilt with red vine designs. Covers and fore edge flap also have gold stamped border. Endbands damaged, some marginal repairs.
