Ms. codex. Title from colophon (fol. 309b). Physical description: 21 lines per page. Written in medium large taʻlīq in black ink with use of red. The text is framed within a single red line (gold and black on fol. 1b-2a). Cream European paper (some leaves thicker than others), glossy. A few leaves dyed in blue. Fol. 1 consist of an original leaf pasted on the verso of a later sheet of European paper. Some leaves have borders repaired... Origin: Copy ("tanmīq") completed during the night of Saturday middle of Jumādá al-Awwal 1027 [May 1618] by Muḥammad ibn Maḥmūd known as (al-shahīr bi-) Ālāy Bey Zade (Bikzādah), in Damascus (colophon, fol. 309b). Ownership statement in the name of Aḥmad ibn ʻAlawī on fol. 1a. Acquired by Robert Garrett from Brill, 1925, from the books of Murād Bey al-Bārūdī (Beirut).
