Ms. codex. Title from title page (fol. 1a). Physical description: 19 lines per page. Written in medium small taʻlīq in black ink with use of red. Contains diagrams in black and red ink. European paper with watermark, glossy. Ḥāshiyah on the margins of the beginning of the text, apparently by the same hand as the main text, attributed to Muḥyī al-Dīn, C̨elebi, ʻAbd al-Raḥīm, Khwājah Zādah, etc., and excerpted from Ḥāshiyah-yi Tajrīd... Origin: Copied by al-Sayyid ʻAlī ibn al-sayyid Walī(?), under the supervision of Muḥammad al-Dabāghī in Sīwās [Sivas] in the Madrasah Shifāʼīyah, and completed on a Sunday at the end of Ṣafar 1091 [March 1680] (colophon, fol. 46a). Acquired by Robert Garrett from Brill, Leyden, 1925, from the books of Murād Bey al-Bārūdī (Beirut).
