The name of the author appears in a note on the margin of the colophon as "al-Ḥasan ibn Muḥammad al-maʻrūf bi-Niẓām al-Nīshābūrī" (fol. 301a). 17 lines per page. Written in black ink with use of red. Contains diagrams. Catchword on the verso of each leaf. Marginal notes. Modern foliation in pencil using Western numerals (counting a modern fly-leaf as fol. 1).
