The commented text is written in medium small naskh in black ink; it is vocalized. Ḥāshiyah on the margin by the same hand as the main text. The paper is frame-ruled, with margins for the ḥāshiyah. Several inscriptions on fol. 1a, including ownership statements and verses of poetry. Majority of... Inscription in Arabic script on a label pasted on the upper cover: "Taṣawwuf 22(?)". Inscription in Arabic script on a label pasted on the pastedown of the upper cover: "Ḥ 958". Origin: According to colophon, copy completed on Tuesday 19 Jumadá [sic] al-Awwal 1088 [July 20, 1677] (fol. 145a). Four ownership statements and impressions of three seals on fol. 1a, including one in the name of Aḥmad Najīb Ibn Aḥmad Ṭāhir (dated '79). One of the seal bears the inscription: "ʻAbduhu Sayyid Muḥammad al-Riḍawī" (repeated on fol. 145a). Acquired from Abraham Shalom Yahuda, 1942.
