Two separate leaves with office hymns from the same manuscript. One leaf starts with vesper hymn for the feast of Mary Magdalene "Votiva cunctis orbita lucis triumphat gr[ati]a qua scandit astra vernula Maria [Christi] fulgida" and ends with the vesper hymn "Gaude visceribus mater in intimis felix" for the feast of the Nativity of Mary; verso includes Michaelmas hymn for lauds "[Christ]e...
Used at one time as a part of a binding as paste downs (some text obscured).
Layout: Written in 2 columns of 43 lines.
Script: Written in Caroline minuscule.
Decoration: Rubricated initials.
Origin: Written in Italy or Spain during the 13th century.
Music: Neumes on lower right on one leaf, added in a different hand.
Added text in two different hands including neumes. "A.No. 40. 55 sol communi [?]" writte in a later hand at foot of leaf.
