Manuscript leaves. Title from Masi. Two separate leaves with office hymns from the same manuscript. One leaf starts with vesper hymn for the feast of Mary Magdalene "Votiva cunctis orbita lucis triumphat gr[ati]a qua scandit astra vernula Maria [Christi] fulgida" and ends with the vesper hymn "Gaude visceribus mater in intimis felix" for the feast of the Nativity of Mary; verso includes Michaelmas hymn for lauds "[Christ]e... Used at one time as a part of a binding as paste downs (some text obscured). Layout: Written in 2 columns of 43 lines. Script: Written in Caroline minuscule. Decoration: Rubricated initials. Origin: Written in Italy or Spain during the 13th century. Music: Neumes on lower right on one leaf, added in a different hand. Added text in two different hands including neumes. "A.No. 40. 55 sol communi [?]" writte in a later hand at foot of leaf. "No. 4" in modern and stamp pasted on same side of one leaf.
