Text in brown ink in various Germanic cursive hands, two of which display some French characteristics; 20-40 lines per page, depending on the script; some sections roughly rubricated, with paragraph marks and underlining in red, and sentence capitals touched in red; horizontal catchwords in right margins of versos; signatures in arabic numerals in lower right margins of rectos at start of each... Blank leaves [423]-[424], part of the last signature, are unopened. Watermarks: ox head below a six-lobed flower; very similar to Briquet's "Tete de boeuf" nos. 15745 [i.e. 14745], 14756, 14751, 14756; and "Collines", no. 11665.
