Caption title: "Comincia l'epistola del beato Eusebio la q[ua]le mando a Horato Dammaso veschouo portuense a theodoro, senator di Roma della morte del beato hyeronimo doctore excellentissimo et chardinale di sancta chiesa."
Possible identity of author as woman suggested by her annotations to Jerome's two letters to Saints Paula and Eustachia regarding the life of women in a religious order.
Text in a tiny, thin cursive hand in brown ink, on blind-ruled paper; captions, capitals, marginal notes, and fists in light red; vertical catchwords.
Blank leaves [101], [103-[108], and [110]-[111] replace nine missing leaves of text; leaves [115]-[120] were originally blank.
Watermark of a hat, used extensively in Florence during second half of 15th century; cf. Briquet "Chapeau", nos. 3387, 3391, 3393. Some leaves bear watermark of fleur-de-lis within a circle, also of Italian origin, but dating from the first half of 16th century; cf. Briquet "Fleur de lis inscrite dans un cercle", nos. 7105-7106.
Leaves [101], [103]-[108], [110]-[111], [115]-[119] blank.
