Choir-book format, with music (plain-chant notation) on a five-line staff written in Nagelschrift. Decorated initials in black, red, and blue.
The first 11 leaves (foliated ij-xij) have been inserted, probably contemporaneously, from another ms. seemingly prepared at the same scriptorium as that of the main text. These inserted leaves have 9 staffs per page, whereas the main text has 10. Also these leaves, being shorter, have been lengthened by the addition of vellum strips at the bottom.
The main text (starting on leaf [12]) is foliated ix-clxxxii, but there are many gaps in the foliation, and the folios are bound out of order. For details, see sheet accompanying the volume.
The last leaf is an extraneous insertion.
Imperfect: piece cut from folio ci, with slight loss of text; a few leaves are slashed in the margins. - Keyword:
