Layout: 47 lines in two columns; separate column prepared for gloss; fol. 508r-582v: 3 columns prepared for points of reference; ruled in plummet. Script: Written in gothic textualis media. 1. Decoration: Historiated initials: 17 blue initials on magenta grounds alternating with magenta initials on blue grounds, historiated miniatures in red, blue orange, gray, white and gold, 8-10 lines high, frequently extended to form partial borders: fol. 1r; Jerome: fol. 4v: the creation in five panels, the expulsion from the garden, Christ seated, the crucifixion between Mary and John the... 2. Decoration: Initials of the same size and color decorated with dogs, centaurs, a merman, hybrid dragon monsters (some with human heads), birds with human heads, and other hybrids. Decoration: Red and blue flourished initials frequently extended to form borders to the left of one or the other written columns. Origin: Written in Paris in the 2nd half of the 13th century.
