Collation: Parchment, fol. 414; 1-2316 2414 25-2616.
Layout: Written in 50-53 lines in double columns; ruled in plummet.
Script: Written in gothic textualis media with pointed "a" and long terminal "s"; fol. 414v in a similar script by another hand.
Decoration: Gold Genesis (fol. 1r) initial (torn) decorated with blue and red 26 lines high extended to form an inner bracket border with leaf decoration. Each book begins with a large red and blue flourished initial. Minor red initials with blue flourishes alternating with blue initials with red flourishes within books written in verse.
Origin: Written in France in the second half of the 13th century.
Former owner: Henry Probasco.
