Manuscript music. Title supplied by cataloger. Collation: Parchment, fol. 182 (foliated in pencil 1-179); 12(including front pastedown) 2-510 62 7-1010 115(+5) 12-1410 158 16-2110. Layout: Written in 9 long lines, ruled in lead- and hard-point; guide letters occasionally visible; text occasionally re-written over faded ink and parchment pasted over areas damaged by ink. Script: Written in southern textura. Decoration: Medium red and blue initials with red, blue, and purple pen-flourishing fol. 2r and 84r (with border on right side of page of red and blue fleur-de-lis), 13v, 44r, 54r, 60r, 85r, 123r, 131v, 173r, 178v; medium red and blue initials; small alternating red and blue initials. Music: Red 4-line staves with black square notation, 3 staves per page. Occasional revisions to music and text included scraping and re-notating, whiting out of notes, pasted on paper and parchment, and addition of flats in a later hand. Fol. 58v two staves added in later hand with text "Christus natus est nobis [rubr.] v. Venite adoremus." Origin: Possibly written in northern Spain, 16th century.
