Layout: Written in 13 long lines, ruled in hard-point and frame ruled in red. Script: Written in southern textura in approximately 4 different hands; hand A: fol. 1r-29v, 32r-76v; hand B: fol. 30r-31v; hand C: fol. 77r-78v; hand D: fol. 79. Decoration: Fol. 1v large blue and pink "L" on a green background with foliate elements; fol. 15v large yellow "H" on an orange background with foliate elements in red, blue, and green; fol. 30r large orange and green "V" on a yellow background with foliate elements; fol. 49r large green and blue "D" on a red background with foliate elements; fol. 77r large gold "T"; medium red initials... Music: Red 5-line staves with black square notation; 5 staves per page. Origin: Written in Spain, 16th century. Annotations in Spanish in a later(?) hand: fol. 4v, 6r, 18r, 18v, 38v, 52v, 69v, 70v.
