Script: Written in southern textura. Decoration: Large initials in red, blue, yellow, green, and purple within double line borders highlighted in yellow, green, blue, or purple; small red, blue, yellow, green, and purple initials, chiefly within borders of yellow, green, or purple; large black strapwork initials. Music: Red 5-line staves with black square note and measured notation; 5 staves per page; fol. 1v and 4r have 4 staves per page; hymns written in measured notation. Origin: Probably written in Spain, 16th century, with 15th century manuscript waste pastedowns.
