Collation: Parchment, 198 fol.; 1-1210 132 14-1910 208 216 222; catchwords surrounded by four flourishes, 2 points, and a stroke; traces of leaf signatures visible on some folios.
Layout: Ruled in brown ink.
Script: Written in Italian gothic textualis media.
Decoration: Fol. 1r, bracket right floral border in purple, green, and blue; olive leaf wreath contains initials "YHS"; fol. 1v, two modern miniatures of the scourging of Christ in a sixteenth-century style, pasted in. Red initials with violet flourishes and blue initials with red flourishes throughout. Alternating red and blue minor initials.
Origin: Written in Italy after 1461, date of the canonization of Catherine of Siena listed in the litany. Saints of litany suggest Dominican affinities.
Number 33 in the collection of Henry Probasco.
Fol.1 remounted on thicker parchment obscuring text of f. 1v.
