In elegant rounded roman letters and graceful musical notation, with other music and prayers added later by at least two other, less-skilled copyists.
Music arranged on red 4-line staves, with square notation in black; four staves per page; large decorative initials, some in red, and some in red, black, and gold; prayers, responses, and instructions in red and black (mostly red).
Watermark of the letter "P" atop three circles suggests that paper was manufactured in the Netherlands, possibly Loosduinen, around 1599; cf. Briquet no. 1371. - Keyword:
