Possible dates suggested by a textual reference to the year 1603, when the last General Chapter of the nuns passed a regulation for celebrating St. Reymundus on Jan. 7.
Music for several motets, inserted into text, is arranged on 4-line staves, with square notation.
In different hands: first [36] leaves in a broad cursive hand, in black ink; remaining [100] leaves in a square, upright printing, in brown ink.
Bound with 10 blank leaves: 3 leaves both preceding and following text, and 4 leaves between sections (leaves [74]-[77]).
Binding style suggests that perhaps the book was bound with empty leaves in the late 16th century, and that the blank leaves were filled in a few decades later, during the early part of the 17th century.
