Title from preamble of text (fol. 3a, l. 1).
Physical description: 15 lines per page. Written in medium small naskh in black ink with use of red for entries. European paper with watermark, dyed in blue. Gloss on the margin. Inscription on fol. 1a. The text proper starts on fol. 2b. Irregular quires.
Handmade spine label with inscription: "Khulāsat al-aqwāl dar rijāl" (horizontal).
Origin: According to colophon, copied by Jaʻfar ibn Ghulām Ḥusayn ibn Jawād al-Shīrāzī, who completed his work ("taʻlīq") on Monday 29 Rabīʻ al-Awwal 1047 [1637] (fol. 100b, followed by verses of poetry in Persian).
