Written in small naskh in black ink with use of red for rubrication. European glazed paper. Catchwords on the verso of each folio. Modern foliation in pencil using Western numerals. Copied by Ibrāhīm ibn Aḥmad ibn Muḥammad al-Labbān al-Asnāwī [?]. The copy was completed on Wednesday night on the 19th of Dhū al-Hijjah (i.e. Thursday morning) 1094 -- colophon (fol. 178b). Ownership statement on fol. 1a dated 1283 (1866-67). Originally acquired by Robert Garrett from Abraham Shalom Yahuda ; 1942.
