21 lines per page. Written in medium small naskh in black ink with use of red. Ff. 197a-206b with border in red ink. European glazed paper. Some marginal notes. Modern foliation in pencil using Western numerals. Foliation in Arabic numerals in black ink, starts on fol. 3a. Title on the lower edge of the text block (Ashraf al-wasāʾil). Title on the upper edge of the text block (Şemail-i şerif).
Copied by ʻAbd Allāh al-Shiblī al-Shāfiʻī on the 17th of Dhū al-Ḥijjah 1077 -- colophon (fol. 286b).
