Title devised by cataloger.
Collation: Parchment, fol. ii + 326 ; 12 26 3-712 8-1114 1218 (-14 through 18, without loss of text) 13-2312 2412 (-9, with loss of text) 2512 2610 (-7 through 10, with loss of text) 2714 284 ; quires unsigned ; occasional horizontal catchwords in inner lower margin on fol. 3-68, occasional vertical catchwords lower inner margin on fol. 138-328.
Layout: Written in 2 columns of 54-56 lines; ruled in lead with an extra set of double rules in the upper margin for the running titles; prickings often remain in outer margins, sometimes in top and bottom margins.
Script: Written by at least 3 scribes in textualis libraria in the Iberian style (notably including the Spanish form of 'z' and some Spanish abbreviations used by the first scribe): scribe 1, fol. 3r-68v; scribe 2, fol. 69r-137v; scribe 4, fol. 138r-328v.

Binding: Bound in Spain or possibly in Italy in the 15th century in brown leather over beveled wooden boards (possibly original?) with rounded edges, cut flush with the bookblock; offset ink, possibly from an earlier manuscript waste flyleaf or pastedown, visible on rear inside board; blind tooled with large compartments (almost completely covering the front and back boards) with intersecting...
Origin: Written in Spain, Kingdom of Castille, possibly Seville, in the middle of the 13th century. Place and date of production based on script and initials.
Provenance: annotations from 13th- through 15th-century readers in several hands throughout; table of readings for the Mass on fol. 2 follows Franciscan use (in semitextualis libraria script), implying an early Franciscan owner; ownership inscription dated 1475 on fol. 328v suggests ownership by Dominicans in Urbino: "Hic biblia pertinet ad locum sancti dominici propr[ie] vrbi[nium?]. Que...
