Collation: Parchment, fol. ii (paper endleaves) + ii (contemporary parchment, fol. i, orignal pastedown) + 193 + ii (contemporary parchment, fol. ii, original pastedown) + ii (paper endleaves) leaves.
Front and back pastedowns and conjugate leaves contain floral designs in green and brown on a pink background.
Layout: written in 20 lines; frame and lines ruled in lead.
Decoration: seven large historiated initials painted in gold and other colors, as well as many blue and red initials decorated with pen ornaments.
Decoration: outlines of human heads in black ink, fol. 2r.
Binding: Brocade of silver and colored silk, [17--
Ownership? note, 14--, on second back parchment flyleaf, upper margin.
Front flyleaves make up a bifolium of a sort of a notebook, listing, or register, with date 1425 and others, belonging to one, Lazaro Moro.
Back flyleaf cited above contains notes dated 1543 and 1544 about who was nominated Procurator di San Marco, Venice.
C.W. Dutschke suggests that this MS, whose liturgy (litany) may reflect a northern European provenance, was illuminated in Florence, first half of the fifteenth century, and owned? by someone in Venice in the following century.
