Script: Written in a Gothic cursive script by one or several closely related hands. Decoration: Illuminated initials in gold, blue, pink, green, black, and yellow at the beginning of each section (f. 39r, 63r, 76r, 87v, 97r, 102v, 105r, 130v, 139r, 145v); red or blue initials with contrasting penwork ornamentation; paragraph marks in red. Binding: Contemporary calf over wooden boards. Origin: Written in Germany (Zacour-Hirsch) between 1360 (based on the latest commentator cited; Jeffrey Witt, Calix O'Hara, Kjerstin Burdiek) and the early 15th century (Zacour-Hirsch). Lacks one leaf at the beginning, many leaves between f. 149-150 (sections 12-18), and final leaf from section 19 (incomplete at end?). Sold by Percy Dobell, 1911.
