Physical description: 25 lines per page. Written in very small naskh, in black ink, with use of red. The text is written on ivory paper inlaid in slightly darker European paper for the borders, the pasted area is covered by a frame in gold and black. Illuminated headpiece in gold and colors, with title and basmallah on fol. 5b. Table of contents in red and black in a gold and black grid on...
Collation: Paper, fol. i, 124, ii ; i (free endpaper) 14 (European paper) 2-1310 i (later added fly-leaf) i (free endpaper).
Two spine labels (vertical), reading respectively "Kitāb Multaqá al-abḥur" in Arabic script, and "30" in Arabic and Western numerals.
Origin: Copy completed during the night of Thursday 25 Rajab 1106 [March 11, 1695] by Muḥammad ibn ʻAbd al-Ṣamad, former muftī in Balık Sarayı (colophon, fol. 124b).
