Ms. correctly foliated in Arabic script, erroneously foliated in Western script. Record follows Arabic foliation. Physical description: 19 lines per page; written in small naskh in black on glazed, laid Arabic paper, some of which is dyed yellow. Small illuminated ʻunwān in blue and gold; text framed in gold on fol. 1b-2a, thereafter in red. Rubrication and catchwords; some marginal notes. Several diagrams. Marginal damp staining and insect damage. In very good condition. Origin: Copy completed on 1 Jumādá II 1023 H [9 July 1614] (fol. 88b). Owner's note on fol. 1a dated 1197 [1782 or 3], by Muḥammad Asʻad who received the book from his father, Mīr ʻAbd al-Karīm. Hadith on fol. iia dated 11 Dhū al-Ḥijjah 1348 H [10 April 1930].
