Physical description: 15 lines per page, in two columns; written in elegant nastaʻliq in black on glazed, laid European paper. Small illuminated ʻunwān, mainly in gold, on leaf 1b. Text framed in red, black, and gold; columns separated by double gold lines. Headings in gold; catchwords. Marginal insect damage and occasional staining. Origin: 1028 H [1618 or 1619], by Halil (leaf 61a). Acquired by Robert Garrett from Brill, 1925, from the books of Murād Bey al-Bārūdī (Beirut).
