Ms. codex. Title from fol. 1a. Copy completed at the beginning of Muḥarram 1191 (1777) -- colophon (fol. 222b). 19 lines per page. Written in medium small naskh in black ink with use of red for rubrication. Text is written within a frame outlined in a single line of red ink. Catchwords on the verso of each leaf. Glazed European paper. A couple of ownership signatures on fol. 1a dated 1224 (1809-10) and 1226 (1811). Originally acquired by Robert Garrett from Abraham Shalom Yahuda ; 1942.
