Well-executed polychrome and gold illuminated ʻunwāns on fol. 1b (slightly damaged), 250b. Simple blue, gold, and red header on fol. 2a. Text bordered by gold and blue with outer marginal gold line on fol. 1b-2a, 250b-251a. Remainder of text bordered by two red lines with central blue line... Origin: Maqālah 1 completed 11 Dhū al-Qaʻdah 1095 H. [20 October 1684] (fol. 249b). Maqālah 2 completed 10 Ṣafar (fol. 295b); year is torn away but likely to be 1096 H. [16 January 1685]. Owner's statements on fol. 1a, 250a dated 1315 H. [1897 or 8]. Several different owner's stamps and statements on fol. 1a.
