Text in black ink; headings and keywords in red. Very little vocalization. Catchwords; some marginal notation. F. 1b is fragmentary, but contains names of author and patron. F. 3b-5a constitute a table of contents. Endpapers contain inscriptions and stamps of ownership. Some leaves have been heavily obliterated. Binding is modern, orange buckram over pasteboard. Title in gold on spine. Endcaps. Doublures are paper. Gift of Professor T. Cuyler Young (?).
