Dedicated to the princess Badīʻ al-Jamāl (Rieu, II, 469), hence the title.
Physical description: 17 lines per page; written in nastaʻliq in black on beige glazed, laid Arabic paper. Rubrication and catchwords; a few marginal notes. Some staining and numerous paper repairs, occasionally resulting in loss of text. Fol. 1 is a replacement. Many gatherings are loose. Inserts.
Origin: Muḥarram 1027 H [December 1685] (fol. 364).
