In black ink, in a regular calligraphic hand. Chapter headings and initials in red ink. Text on both sides of leaves. Errors in foliation: numbers 162, 164-165, and 174 repeated. Ff. 265v-266 blank. Index on ff. 267-274.
Bound in contemporary calf, spine and covers decorated with blind rules, gilt lettering on spine: "Choron. de Rey Dom Ioao IO. I.P." Ties removed; edges stained red.
Dedication (in red ink) on f. 265r: Laus deo, et Beatae Virgini, Maria.
