Collation: Parchment, fol. ii (modern paper) + 198; 110 210 (+7, fol. 17) 3-1310 410 ( -8, 9, 10 after fol. 138, excised by scribe) 15-2010; quires signed in 4 systems (for more details see fuller description by C.W. Dutschke).
Layout: Written in 39-42 long lines; ruled in ink with top 2 or 3 and bottom 2 horizontal lines full length; prickings in outer margins.
Script: Written in miniscule; fol. 133v-138v by a different scribe.
Decoration: Major initials particolored red and blue with leafy flourishing as infilling to letter and as extensions in inner margin; 2-line secondary initials particolored red and blue; 1-line initials in alternating red and blue. Rubrics red throughout.
Binding: 18th century mottled calf, lower cover lacking, front cover detached, sewing broken. Book presently in loose quires.
Origin: Written in Austria during the first half of the 13th cent. Late 15th or early 16th cent. ownership note on fol. 197v of the monastery of Augustinian Canons Regular, dedicated to St. John the Evangelist, in Waldhausen, Austria.
