The manuscript begins and ends imperfectly. Quires are missing after ff. 60, 84, and 120, and some of the existing quires are bound in the incorrect order. See the note by Dr. Eric Millar tipped into the first flyleaf, and the annotations penciled into the manuscript itself by a modern hand.
Layout: Written in 28 long lines; frame-ruled.
Script: Gothic textual.
Decoration: Red and blue initials with flourishes.
Binding: 19th cent., rebacked; spine reads "M.S. / Sermons / 14th Cent."
Accompanying Materials: Description of the manuscript in a modern hand on lined paper tipped into the recto side of the first flyleaf; note in a different modern hand pasted onto the verso of the rear flyleaf, which identifies the author of the description (and of the table of contents that follows) as Dr. Eric Millar; table of contents glued to the rear pastedown.
